Get To Know Your Neighborhood
In her quest to know her neighbors well she assumed the name of the estate. She is a realtor and assuming the name of the estate means she knows it inside out. She knows what is selling in that neighborhood or what is about to sell. If a property is on sale in that estate she knows at how much it is going for, the reason for the sale and where the seller is relocating for. She gives her opinion on if the sale was a gain or loss. This just says, know your neighborhood. Know the properties that up for sale and which are not. If there is an area that buyers are not willing to buy know it and find out why. Know the areas which are in demand for their rentals. Now for you to be successful in this kind of business you should be efficient. That means that you cannot spin tires if you can’t move them.
Talk To People
People do not have faith with the real estate sellers or the agents. As a real estate agent what can you do? Build your relations with good communication. If you let your clients in on what you do it will not be hard to convince them.
Be responsive, if you get an email or call, reply to it. In some cases you may not be available always but endeavor to be reachable always. Set a standard of returning calls or emails and stick with it. You will miss leads and faith by people will be lost.
Look For Leads
Leads generation is the bread and butter of many realtors. There are several avenues for good realtors. Letter drops, referrals, social media. When you make a sale do not forget to ask for a referral.
Good networking involves keeping in touch with people even if it does not benefit you. If a petrol seller tells your he has a fridge that needs to be fixed. If you know any fridge technician connect them. If you connect with people they will also want to connect with you.
